Staying at Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei was an overall fantastic experience, with spacious rooms and an amazing private onsen. The dining was great, though I felt the breakfast could have been a bit heartier for the chilly weather. I did find that the location was a bit tricky to navigate, especially for first-timers like me, but it was all worth it for the serene atmosphere and cozy vibe.

My stay at Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei was fantastic overall, with a serene onsen experience and notably tasty meals. However, navigating the location was a bit tricky for someone unfamiliar with the area, and I wish the reception staff spoke better English. Still, the stunning views and the traditional Japanese atmosphere made it all worthwhile.

I enjoyed the spacious 75sqm room which was beautifully designed and included a private onsen. However, the height of the door frame was a little tight for my tall family members.

The hotel is in a scenic area, but reachability can be tricky due to the local bus system. I'd highly recommend using the shuttle service they offer to avoid confusion.

My stay at Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei was a mix of amazing experiences and a few hiccups. The onsen facilities were great, with multiple options for soaking and the added luxury of a private onsen in my room. However, the air conditioning wasn't working properly during my stay, which made things a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall, I'd say it’s a beautiful resort that's still in the process of modernizing and improving some areas.

Rooms

The onsen facilities were fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor baths. I really appreciated the free snacks and drinks available in the lounge; they added a lot to the experience. Just wish the wifi was better.
